Fundraising Program Helping groups raise money for themselves...	When we started our Donation Program in October of 2009, it was our intent to create a powerful fundraising system that would benefit as many cat shelters and rescues as possible. In our original plan, we pledged to donate 50% of sales (not profits). It works, and so far we've been able to help 59 different groups but... We wanted to raise larger amounts, for more shelters, on a more regular basis. So we expanded our efforts to include this, our Fundraising Program. It's simple and efficient for all concerned and it's working too, generating funds for the groups that have joined.
Your supporters can now designate that your group gets the whole 50% donation from their purchase. You get $5 of the $9.98 book price when your supporters buy a book and specify that your group is their designated choice. Your supporters get a unique and useful resource plus the satisfaction of directing to which group their portion of the donation money goes. We get to donate more money to more groups every month! To Be Eligible: To take part in this program, your organization requires a website, needs to be a no-kill facility, and must be able to accept donations by Paypal or CanadaHelps. (Paypal is free to join and very easy to sign up). That's it!   To Benefit: We encourage you to use this fundraising option in whatever way will benefit you the most. If you want to include news of it in your newsletters, blogs and announcements as well as on your site, that's great! The more books we can sell together, the more money we can raise. To Participate: Just 3 simple steps: 1. Add a button or blurb about our book to your site, with a link back to ours.  Many of you have already generously added a button or mention of us on your sites so this won’t be new to you.  You're welcome to use what you’ve already got, or switch to some of the new buttons we’ve made. For everyone’s convenience, we've done some premade buttons and text that you’re welcome to "copy & paste", these can be found further down this page.  Link back to our main page, http://www.cats.10top10lists.com 2. Whatever you add, be sure to include instructions to your viewers to designate your group  if they choose to buy a book. Our Paypal account has been adjusted to include a simple "add instructions to seller" option, all they need to do is put your name there. Our premade texts and buttons spell this out to your viewers very clearly and using them is likely the least amount of work for you. 3. Send us a quick note and let us know you're joining so we can get you into our files and be ready to send your donation at the end of the month.
